Our Story
Montana Rock Products started on our family farm when a source of gravel was needed. A glacier moraine was found that produced not only construction gravel, but when handpicked produced Glacier river cobbles, landscape boulders, and rainbow pebbles. Montana Rock Products Inc. was incorporated in 1996. We expanded to include hard rock quarrying in 2003 and began sawing thin veneer in 2008. Today Montana Rock Products Inc. is a company of twenty one employees with its headquarters still on the century old farm that was homestead by Ralph Tower in 1910, grandfather to Montana Rock Product founders Chip and Charlie Vergeront. We are proud of the stone we have sold across North America and we invite you to consider us for your next project.
